Rog Phone 5 Review

For a Gamer this phone is like made in heaven. If you are a hardcore-gamer or a You Tuber you should own this provided the budget fits your pocket. It has the best Processor which is Snapdragon 888 & its speed can go upto 3Ghz. For the base variant you will get 12GB RAM & for display you will get a screen size of 6.6 inch which supports HDR10+. For Battery you will get 6000 maH ,so you don’t have to worry about time which can go minimum 9.5 hours of continuous Gaming. Also there are 2 charging ports, one you get in bottom of the phone another on the side of the phone, so your wrist won’t feel jammed of holding the phone during charging while you are gaming. Well, there are some gamers whose fingers are bigger than normal, so they don’t fit properly on the screen or they can control the gameplay properly. They press the Fire button whereas something else happens in the game or when they press the reload button Fire button is triggered LOL. Either way, you cannot play the game properly and face this finger problem. But this phone has a solution for that, which is Air-Trigger Technology. Basically Air Triggers uses hardware to start itself. During playing your favorite First-Person-Shooter Game you can Turn On Air Trigger Technology and then you will see the screen will turn black. You will also see 2 buttons Red & Blue. The Red button is for the right side trigger and Blue button for the Left side trigger.

If you overlap Red Button with the Fire/Shoot button and overlap Blue button which the Reload/ADS button. When you tap on the right side with your right hand firing starts without touching the touchscreen on your phone and Left side with your left hand reloads the gun. Now isn’t that a necessary and Awesome feature of this phone. Gameplay will feel like you are not playing on mobile rather you are playing on a PS5 or XBOX. Next, the yellow button, if you overlap the yellow button with the Reload button , then when you shake the phone it reloads the gun automatically without you touching the screen. So there are basically 3 Air Triggers Red, Blue & Yellow overlap them to whichever button you want as per your comfort ability. Asus Rog Phone 5 has Touch Sampling rate of 25ms which is so smooth that it gives you an Unfair edge over your opponents. For Audio you will get HD-Stereo speakers which will actually enable you hear sound with clarity. If some of your friends are talking outside or near your room you can still be able to hear sound clearly which means the right side sound can heard from right side speaker and the left side from the left speaker.

Last, but not the least the X-mode comes packed for Gamers in this phone. It is such unique feature you will not get in any other phone other than The Rog Phone 5. When you Turn On the X-mode you will see the whole change in UI Experience in the phone. It will look like a totally different type of high speed gaming device. You can create a new profile in every game you play where you can customize CPU Clock speed which means you can overclock the CPU, but do it cautiously. You can customize the GPU, Touch-sensitivity, RAM(Upto Maximum Capacity), Micro, Macro, Key-mapping, Air-triggers, network. Therefore, nothing is there you can’t customize.
